<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Hamilton Mine for the month of May, 1996. <br />The seed planted last fall does not appear to be doing well due to the drought conditions being <br />experienced this spring. The region received approximately .7 inches of rain in the last two <br />days, but that has been the extent of the spring rains this year. The seed may have germinated <br />and then dried up. Several days of precipitation should reveal whether the seed is still viable or <br />if the site will need to be reseeded. <br />
