h <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of May, 1997. <br />The road to the site was very rutted and is becoming almost impassable. With the rain and muddy <br />conditions, it cannot be driven to without 4 wheel drive. Since the site is difficult to access, the <br />vegetation is doing much better. The site has reasonably good vegetation cover except where there <br />was continued 4-wheel taffic. As there is no money left to do any further reclamation, the site will <br />remain marginal at best. <br />
