III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Blue Flame Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach and Tom Gillis of the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. Prior to May 2004 DMG had last conducted reclamation on this <br />site in May 1993. [n May 2004, DMG had a subsidence feature at the top of the portal area regraded and a <br />diversion ditch was excavated around the regraded area. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There are no ponds or ditches on the site. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS <br />No problems were found at the site. With the exception of the area disturbed in May 2004, revegetated areas <br />have good cover. <br />
