III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Highway Coal Stockpile <br />The mine ID sign was up at the entrance. The graveled entrance road was in good condition. There <br />were no problems with cut slope stability at this temporarily reclaimed site. Straw bales for sediment <br />control were in place. More surface disturbance markers are needed. <br />Well Field <br />Most ofthis site was wet ti-om melting snow. 1'he mine 1D sign was up but additional surface <br />disturbance markers were present. The topsoil stockpile sign was off of its post. The road leading to <br />this site was wet but passable. There were no signs of erosion on the topsoil stockpile. <br />Records Checklist <br />The records were found to be in compliance.
