Regardless, in discussing the matter with Chris Varra, he apparenty acted to
have any buried trees dug up since they were predominantly sparse in number
and located near the outer perimeter of the existing fill. The trees were then
stockpiled with the majority stockpile of trees that had yet to be incl ded in the
fill. It is my understanding that Gregg will be out to inspect the sit sometime
after the June Board meeting. I have since inspected and filmed t e location
and could not find evidence of concern. Respective of the past ctivity the
matter appears resolved.
It would be good to have a better understanding as to what level of tree burial
could occur. My understanding is that Carl will contact Glenn Malo at Solid
Waste to determine any protocols. The practice will not be resume without a
prior understanding and agreement as to any limits.
Not every element of our activity can be fully anticipated respective o its impact
on the minds of others. Along with the myriad of laws and regulation come the
more numerous opinions and interpretations. We do our best to d the right
thing. Trust we will continue to be responsive to any legitimate con rn raised
about our operations, to the extent we are aware of them.
If you need further information or clarification on this matter, please contact us.
Thank-you again for your understanding and kind assistance.
Sincerely,
Bradf rd Ja es
Professional Forester
cc.
