III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on }he inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Comments <br />also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts of evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />The permit boundary encloses 8.9 acres. These acres consist of four separate parcels (003of 1.62 acres; <br />HG-8 of 5.13 acres; E of 1.03 acres; and Slump of 1.14 acres). The first three aze designated as shrub <br />azeas, and the last a reclaimed slide area. <br />The mine site was covered by about two feet of snow. Access to pazcels HG-8, E and the slump was <br />denied. All the parcels were inspected from plowed Routt County Road 53. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />The mine identification sign at Pazcel 003 was in compliance with the rules. Others were not inspected. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />The only hydrologic features within the permit area are tmderdrains and piezometers of the slide area. <br />Snow (two feet deep) covered the site. <br />FISH AND WILDLIFE <br />Elk fencing about pazcel 003 was in good repair. Pazcels HG-8 and E could not be seen from the road. <br />No wildlife was observed on site. <br />OTHER <br />Vehicle traffic, wheeled and snowmobile, tracks were observed on the road past parcel 003.
