Main purpose of the site
visit was to show Administrative support staff, Mary Rodriguez and Eleni Papamihail of
the Division, about specialist work in the field.
Gary Goodrich of CC&V was present during the site visit.
By starting at the American Eagle look out area, Gray pointed out the different parts
of the operation and explained how ore and overburden was separated and placed in
different parts of the storage area.
Continued the inspection at the Crusher area, Gary explained how the re was crushed and
placed on to the pad and how the gold was removed from the ore by the cyanide drip
irrigation system.
Continued the inspection to the ARD area. Mr. Goodrich enplaned how the gold was
separated from the solution and converted into SOlbs dore.
While in the area, inspected the Phase IV Low volume solution collection transducer
read out for pumps 1&2. As reported in last weeks inspection, both DRMS AND CC&V had
agreed to allow the new high capacity pump # 1 to operate by itself to see if only one
pump will be able to keep the hydrostatic head below two feet.
As expected, the new pump was able to keep the head below two feet. Transducer #1 was
recorded at 17.4 # 2 was still reading -29.7. CC&V PLANS TO PLACE A NEW REDAOUT METER
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for pump #2. Once the cycle for pump # 1 reaches a comfort level of
pumping and being able to keep the head below two feet, there are plans to pull the # 2
pump and transducer and fix the read out meter, by calibrating or replacing the
transducers. At that time, CC&V will provide the final permanent solution for the
system. The proposed solution was to place similar pumps in both #1 &2. However, if
both DBMS AND CC&V AGREE that only placing one high capacity pump is adequate, with the
lower capacity pump in # 2, then the proposal can be amended.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: TIM COMER
OPERATOR: CCB.V
STREET: P_(~ RnX 191
CITY/STATE/ZIP: vocme c~i ~ann~ ana~n
cc: r CE
I' H W
t HMWMD (CH)
t
r SE
t WQCD (CH)
I' OTHER
I' BL
I' FS,
