The Operator ie not within the twenty-five foot setback from the south property line. <br />Measurements were taking with the measuring wheel, and the distance from the fence on the <br />line to the pit varies from thirty-seven to twenty-nine feet. <br />2. Measurements of the underwater elope were taken at various places around the pit with a <br />stick 8' long. Most of the pond's underwater elopes were adequate, with the following <br />exceptions: 200 feet on the southeast corner varied from 2:1 to 1.5:1; 150 feet on the <br />south aide was measured at 2:1; the west aide averaged elopes of 2:1 along its 370 foot <br />length; and the northern face, currently being worked, ie estimated at 2:1 grades. <br />A Technical Revision to the permit is required to change the working elopes of the pit to <br />2H:1V from the current 3H:1V. This should be submitted within 60 days of this inspection <br />report. <br />3. The distance from the center of the powerlinee to the edge of the excavation was measured <br />with the measuring wheel, and was found to be 42 feet. This is in compliance with the 75-foot <br />right of way required by Public Service. <br />4. Seeding of the topsoil stockpiles and weed control measures are recommended for the <br />immediate future.
