III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspeclwn of the Coal Gulch Mine for the month of July, 2003. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The pond is dry and not discharging. <br />Reclamation Success: The site vegetation appears to be satisfactory even though very little moisture has <br />come about so far this year. <br />General Mine Compliance: The diversion to Coal Gulch has been in for about 2 years but no water has <br />(lowed since its construction. From this angle, it appears that if a 100 year event were to happen, the <br />water may not stay w~th~n the banks of the "S" shape diversion. <br />
