MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1981-080 <br />INSPECTION DATE 1/15107 <br />(Page 2} <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Construction Materials 110c permits. The operator <br />was contacted about the scheduled inspection, and presets during the inspection. The site was not active at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />The required permit ID sign and all permit comer markers were ohserverL There is a county road crossing the eastern portion <br />of the permit There is no excavation done in the petmrT are8 east ofittte county road. The only activities are the storage of <br />soma mering-re{aEed ~uipment and placement of the por~fe scale arb scalehouse. <br />The operator's rxxrrrret"stg-netated equipment, rt arrd shop binding (alt used in his construction business) are placed <br />outside Hre pem+itted areal srw(t- boundary. <br />All excavation and stockpiling is:carried out in the area west of the couniy_road. There is no recent mining, as all recent activity <br />has been removal of existing stockpiled materials:-Past excavation is orderly and some of the slopes are being reduced as <br />mining progresses. There is an old pre-law pit in the west end of the permit area, which the operator's currently permitted <br />excavation has not encroached on yet. Eventually the old pit will join the new one, as the new pit expands, and ail will be <br />redairtied under Ute approved ree~sratars plan. <br />Topsoitr~6aensfilppiedaheadt~fte:niirting,arrsf~sboclcpiledatfhe.southandsoufhwesisidesofthepermit. Rissufficient <br />to Dover the presei~r~ arm, tt is being protected, is adegeratety vegetated, and has no weeds on it. <br />All stormwater drafting frorn the disturbed areas reports to the pit. The site is kept neat, with no accumulation of parts or <br />debris. There is tw onsite storage of hydrocarbons. There are no noxious weeds. <br />The existing amount of bond posted is $5000. A review of the permit file, however, reveals that the bond was recalculated in <br />1995. as Dart of a.oerrnit revision.
