<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of August, 2000. The site <br />is dry and the weather clear. <br />Roads: The road to the site has been graded and although it is still a 4-Wheel only road, the access is <br />significantly better. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The site is as stable as it will ever be. <br />Reclamation Success: The vegetation is dry due to the lack of rain but does not appear any worse <br />than normal. Lots of garbage is still on site. <br />
