A sign with the permit number and name was posted at the entrance to the pit, and <br />boundaries were marked with roads, berms and ditches drawn on the last annual report map. <br />2. Most of Stage A (39 acres) ie currently disturbed, with Stage P (offices, ecalehouee, <br />etc.) as they were during the last inspection. Approximately 4-5 acres of Stage B were <br />disturbed, for a total of approximately 50 acres disturbed. <br />3. Highwalls were measured in Stage A and B; approximately 590 feet of 25' highwall exists <br />in Stage A, and about 1030 feet of 25' to 30' highwall was found in Stage B. An 870 foot, <br />15' highwall rune along the northern boundary, with about 15' of topsoil along it. <br />4. Topsoil stockpiles in Stage A were measured, and total of 33,161 CY ie stored onsite, <br />enough to reclaim 41.1 acres at this time. The stockpiles are seeded with white and yellow <br />sweet clover (abating a past problem at this site), and are stored away from the roads and <br />central processing, with the exception of the stockpile along the northern boundary, which <br />has a road going over it. The road can not be relocated around the stockpiles at this time, <br />but when reclamation changes the direction of operations, it should be moved as soon as <br />possible. <br />5. The asphalt batch plant, offices, and equipment are still stored on Stage P. <br />6. The past problems at the site were discussed, and all have been abated: the discharge <br />permit has been obtained, the berm built along the northern perimeter, and the backfill has <br />been classified by the County. <br />•.
