This status is not to last indefinitely. It is not clear in the
file, however, when the operation was reactivated. The date may be defined as the time of active reclamation of certain
parts of the site, or by the test milling of some of the old ore, or tail decontamination. The operator should determine what
activity and date are appropriate in this case, and communicate that to this office.
The bond has not been reviewed since 1996, and it must be scheduled for recalculation in the near future. If there are
increases, the operator will be notified, and will have 60 days to supply the increased amount.
There were no additional items observed or discussed. No problems exist at this time. All responses or questions about
this inspection report should be directed to this inspector at the Division's Durango Field Office.
