Fi117 -Ahead cut needs to be graded or otherwise protected (riprap) on the NE side of <br />the third terrace from the toe. All terraces seem to simply end at the down drain. This <br />condition can aggravate head cutting. LCC should extend the riprap up the terrace a short <br />distance from the down drain. There is some water ponding on the SW side of the second <br />terrace from the bottom. <br />Blasting: <br />Map 2.05.3-4 has a''/z mile blasting line that shows blasting impact area. <br />Kent issued NOV 2001-16 for failure to conduct pre-blast surveys on 10/27/2001. <br />Blasting had started in 10/2001. In 6/2001, LCC sent 33 notices of pre-blast survey <br />eligibility. There was a second round of 34 eligibility letters sent in 9/2001. 10 people <br />requested surveys. The blasting schedule expires 10/12/2002. The notification was sent <br />certified mail. <br />
