The Holsinger Pit is permitted for a total of 9.9 acres. Dry mining methods will be employed. The operator has posted <br />a financial warranty of $10,500. The site will be reclaimed to rangeland. <br />3. The pit appears to be active although there was no mining taking place during the time of inspection. A majority of the <br />site has been disturbed. The current disturbance includes an active excavation of 1-2 acres and 100 linear feet of <br />highwall at 6-8', 3 acre-feet of stockpiled topsoil, and 6 acre-feet of finish grading to be done. This inspector finds that <br />the existing financial warranty is adequate to complete reclamation of this disturbance. <br />4. An entrance sign has been posted and the permit boundary marked as required by Rule 3.1.12. <br />5.
