WaNcer from six aerial photographs [2~ <br />Ol-0r~-1(1) tivaiph 6(b) on flb ort the Division) todcen by, and an oral debrieflng of, Mr. <br />Hairy Ranney, Environmental Protection Spectalkt of the Division. Mr. Ranney stated that he <br />saw no problems at the site. Copies of the photographs have been transmitted electnon~ally <br />to the operator, omd a copy of this roport sent to the operator by mat. <br />$~ A portion of the main haul road to the site appears in Photograph 1, 3 and 4. Internal <br />haul and access roads appear in all the photographs. All tha roads appear to be in good <br />ropak. <br />A law level of water is apparent in cementation Pond 2 (Photographs 1 <br />and ~, in the sewage water iroahnent impoundment (PhotoRaptu t and 3-, and in snail <br />areas of B-Pff (Photograph 5). There b rw water visible Ni the dugout pond (Photographs 1 <br />and 3). There is rw visual indication of surface n~noff in any of the photoQaphs. No erosional <br />fealuros are nosed. <br />Plooement of flyash wflh cover by spoA b evident in PhotoQaph 5 <br />and b. The work, in echelon, b underway of the south end of the B PFt. All work appears to be <br />in compliance with the perrnfl. <br />Portions of distubed rnea perimeter ditches appear in all the Photographs. <br />As menlia~ed under roads. portions of roads appear >n aY the photopaptss. Sedkrienfafion <br />Pond 2 appeoss in Photographs 1 ~d 2. the dugout pond appears in Photograptu 1 and 3. <br />The shop and office building, sewage fr+eahrienf system. water tank, fuel area, and <br />parking/storage aroa appear in Phwtographs 1 and 3. All these support fadlHbs appear to <br />be in good repair. <br />I~ 7opsand storage p'bs A-1 and A-2 appear in Photographs 1, 3 and 4, and topsand <br />storage pib A~ appears In Photograph 5. All appear to be in good shops. <br />General Mine Plan Compliance The general mine plan consisb of backflll of the remaining <br />portions of Pit B with tlyash and spill, topsoiling, and rovegetation of di+h~rbed oxeas. <br />Evidence of all these activities is apparent in one or more of the Photogropha. These activities <br />aro in compliance with the general mine plan. <br />g~g~p; Variance in rovegstaNon is apparent in all the Photographs. Aroas appear to <br />have been rovegetated in compliance wHh the permit. <br />Air Resource Protection: The dust suppression watering hock located at the water tank <br />appears to PhotoQaphs 1 and 3.
