III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the CCMC Mine for the month of August, 1996. <br />Records were inspected and found to be satisfactory. See page 5 of this report for more <br />details. <br />The site experienced some recent rain as the soil is damp at the surface in numerous spots. The <br />site appears to be stable with no signs of any erosion of significance. Vegetation has <br />rebounded from the cattle grazing earlier this summer. All in all, the site appears very stable <br />and can easily withstand some severe thunderstorms when they occur. <br />
