This appears to be the
closest off-site tree. There are numerous trees to the northeast of the site, but they are located much further from the proposed
excavation to be dewatered. The closest of these trees are located between the railroad tracks and Highway 6 and 50
approximately 270 feet from the proposed excavation limit. Most of these trees are in fair condition.
There are mature trees, including cottonwoods, along the northeast side of Highway 6 and 50 at an approximate distance of
400 feet and more. Many of these trees appear to be in poor shape on a property that appears to be uninhabited. However,
there are numerous trees that appear to be healthy.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Steve Shuey at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand Junction
Field Office, 101 South 3rtl Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone number 970-243-6368.
I & E Contact Address cc:
^ CE
NAME Martin Azcarraga ^ BL
OPERATOR M.
