III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG on September 20, 2005. <br />The inspection was unaccompanied. The site was quiet and deserted. The weather was <br />clear and sunny. <br />The road was in excellent condition -gravel to the parking area. Above the parking area the <br />road was somewhat rutted. <br />The regarded portal area was stable with no settling or cracking and no erosion. <br />The pond was dry. The embankments were stable. There were footprints of stock in the <br />bottom, so the pond had held some water during the summer. The entire pond area was <br />well vegetated. <br />Vegetation on the reclaimed portal area was somewhat sparse -less than 50% cover. <br />Canada thistle patches occurred along the roadside, gone to seed for the season. <br />
