<br />III. Comments -Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforce- <br />ment actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting <br />the enforcement action. <br />On December 9, 1993 a complete inspection was conducted at the O.C. Mine <br />No. 2. Present during the inspection was Mr. Weaver, the operator. This mine <br />is temporary cessation. <br />At the time of the inspection the weather was cold and sunny; there was about 8 <br />inches of snow on the ground. Mr. Weaver and an MSHA inspector were met <br />at the site. The MSHA inspector was inspecting the portal sealing that was <br />judged satisfactory. <br />The operator has removed 10 tons of electric motors and 15 tons of scrap steel. <br />One roof bolter was sold. <br />Snow was covering the sediment control ditch; the pond was covered with <br />snow. No problems were noted at the mine site. <br />
