When the site was <br />inspected on i1-07-97, the Division identified the over lapping permit boundaries and requested the <br />operator to remove the area that is covered by both permits and add it to either permit, as long as either <br />permit area do not exceed 9.9 acres. <br />On 2-OS-02, the operator submitted a request to remove the overlapped portion of the permit <br />(approximately 73,622 square feet) from Permit # M-1989-081. During a phone conversation"with Lyn <br />Brownfield, County Administrator, she informed the Division of the County's intention: to make both permits. <br />fit a rectangular shape. She was informed that unless the County is saying the existing permit boundaries <br />are in error, and the permit boundaries as submitted in the 2-05-02 letter are incorrect, with out an <br />amendment and a release request for the area or areas not affected, one can not change boundaries as they <br />see fit. She agreed to look into it and let the Division know as soon as possible. <br />Both permit areas were inspected ,however, the permit boundaries are still a bit confusing, at this time the <br />Division requests the operator to provide the new maps for both permits by 4-18-02.
