Compliance with Colorado Surf acs 'Coal .4i Wing Reclamation Act <br />CRS 1973, as amended 34-33-101, et. sue., ~ <br />and the <br />R ales and Regulations Issued Pursuant to the Act <br />This includes a Listing of the particular provisions of the regulatory program which were <br />examined during the course of this inspection, and identifies enforcement actions taken <br />during the inspection for failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations, the Act and <br />the permit. <br />9.02 Signs and Markers <br />The mine and permit identification signs are in compliance. Perimeter markers <br />have been placed at the corners and perimeter of the permit boundary. <br />9.05 Hydrologic Balance <br />Culvert C3 was blocked and needs to be cleaned. The coal stockpile is located in <br />a small, self-contained depression that does not drain into the sediment pond. However, <br />erosion control is adequate. The operator indicated that the small amount of water in <br />the area evaporates quickly and does not leach into the groundwater system. <br />The ditches and pond are well-maintained and in compliance. <br />9.17 Air Resources Protection <br />Coal discharging from the conveyor to the stockpile is controlled. There was <br />no evidence of fugitive coal dust. <br />
