i <br />III. Comments -Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />ouservations made during tfre inspection. Conments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On December 15 an aerial inspection was conducted at the Canadian Strip <br />Mine. Conditions at the time of the inspection were clear with heavy snow <br />cover. <br />Large format aerial photographs were taken of the site. The Photographs <br />identified as 12193 #:03 F:020 and 12193 #:03 F:024 were taken at oblique <br />angles. One picture taken looking south covers most of the disturbed area. <br />The other was taken looking east and covers the northern half of the disturbed <br />area. The heavy snow cover was deep enough that all grass and shrubs in <br />95% of the disturbed area was totally covered. Only cattails in pond A could be <br />seen. In the undisturbed area mature shrubs could be seen. <br />No activity has occurred on site since the snow fall. <br />
