III. COMMENTS COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partialinspection of the CanadianMinefor the month of June, 1996. <br />The site remains in a very stable condition. Vegetation is well established and diverse. Very <br />few signs of any erosion were evident and those seen were very minor. Cattle were grazing on <br />the permit area but have only been on site for a short time. Both ponds had water in them but <br />only the lower one had any discharge and it was only a trickle. No problems were noted on any <br />portions of the minesite. <br />
