This letter is also in response to Bill York - Feirn's inspection report of 10-16-92
received by me on 11-2-92. A submittal date for a technical revision is given as 12-15-92. This
is obviously not attainable due to the scope of the problem, but the investigation by Brierley &
Lyman is currently underway.
The above described investigation should take 4-5 weeks depending upon weather. At the
completion of this phase, a visual impact analysis may be required by Jefferson County.
However, we should be prepared to submit an amendment to our Ml;RB permit, regardless of
a visual impact analysis, approximately six or seven weeks from now.
I will keep you informed as to our progress. Please call if you have question or concerns.
Sincerely,
;~~~~ ~~~
Robert B. Laird
Director of Mining Resources
cc: File
E,W.
