Only activity occurring at site is removal from stockpiles on north side <br />of project. <br />2. Permit specifies 3:1 reclaimed slopes. The slope on the west side is <br />1.5:1. Operator needs to address within 30 days how this current <br />50-foot high wall will be subsequently reclaimed. <br />3. Gravel stockpiles on lowest north bench next to scale house. Second <br />bench approximately 20-foot high abuts this first bench to the south and <br />is the working face. Pit wall to south in excess of 25 feet. <br />4. Area adjacent to this bench on east side being used as bone-yard and was <br />a working pit face at one time. <br />5. Area farther to south on east side is a stockpile for boulders. Also, <br />appears to be road drainage problem in this area due to significant cut <br />trench on west side of road approximately five feet deep. Operator <br />needs to submit documentation within 30 days as to the cause of this <br />washout and corrective action.' <br />6. Appears operation still within 8.5 AC permit area but difficult to <br />specify due to tremendously high walls and various benches. <br />7. As specified in a July 2, 1982 inspection report, "Submit a map <br />identifying the permit area to scale along with the nature and extent of <br />all disturbances." This map needs to be submitted within 30 days. <br />8. Permit specifies topsoil would be salvaged and stockpiled for future <br />reclamation purposes. During the inspection, no topsoil stockpile could <br />be found. Operator must immediately (within 30 days) specify the <br />location of this stockpile and deposition of the topsoil medium. <br />9. Site is leased from Al Frei and ]ease is up in June/Ju]y, 1985.
