The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all corrective actions taken. PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS CORRECTION DATE 1 ~ Mine entrance sign was not posted per Rule 3.1.12(2} which requires the operator to clearly label 2 / 1 /2007 the mine entrance. -- PB or PV: PB TOPIC(S): SM The opZerator shall clearlymark the mine entrance and submit photos of the mine entrance sign on or before February 1.2007. 2. Improper storage and containment of fuels and oils was found on site. All storage tanks. petroleum and anv hazardous materials on site for anv period of time shall have secondary containment. Please suooly photo documentation that the fuel tank and any additional fuel containers are stored in a proper secondary containment structure on or before February 1.2007. This secondary containment structure shall include a berm that contains all contents of the tank and various containers (when full) plus 10%. and an impermeable liner. Or provide photo documentation that the containers have bean removed from the site on or before February 1.2007. 3. Inspection of Pit 29 and the landowner's property also confirmed that there are damaging off-site impacts occurring on the adjacent landowner's property. CORRECTIVE ACTION: 2 / 1 / 2007 PB or PV: PB TOPIC(S): AT 2 / 1 / 2007 PB or PV: PB TOPIC(S): HB Brannan Sand and Gravel must provide data to the Division demonstrating that this operation is not _ _ S2[Z responsible for adversely affecting the hydrologic balance on the adjacent landowner's Drooerty. This may be done by a providing the Division with a series of ground water monitoring data from the oiezometers on site on or before February 1.2007.
