(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-?003D5~ <br />INSPECTION DATE: R-~ ~-OZ INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />Completed apre-operation inspection of this site pursuant to requirements of Rule 3.2(7). <br />This is a new application fora 1 12 Regular permit, containing 320 acres. The site is located about 30 miles south <br />of Lamar (a few miles west of highway 287) <br />The applicant proposes to mine the lands in 20-acre phases. The applicant proposes to strip off and stockpile <br />the thin layer of topsoil, then mine, process and remove the 10-13 feet of gravel. As mining activities move to <br />the west, the applicant proposes to begin reclaiming the east side of the phased 20-acre tract. <br />Mining will begin in an old pre-law gravel pit then move to the west.
