III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the mspection The comments mclude discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the King Coal Mine (or the month of April, 2001. The weather conditions <br />at the lime of the inspection were calm and sunny. <br />ROADS: Roads are well maintained. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: The West pond had water in it but was not discharging, the East pond also <br />had water m it but was not discharging. All culverts and ditches appear to be capable of functioning as <br />designed. <br />GENERAL MINE COMPLIANCE: The site is well maintained and stable.
