NTS -COMPLIANCE <br />This was an inspection performed to release liability for five final sites for Cottonwood Land Company <br />NOI CX-96-219.01. Jim Burnell of DMG was accompanied by John Weinman of Hydro-Environmental <br />Solutions. Inc., representing the Cottonwood Land Company The inspection was conducted <br />beginning at approximately 8 a.m., July 19. 2005 The weather was clear and hot. <br />There were five sites remaining on the Notice of Intent that retained liability for excessive weeds and <br />insufficient revegetation, These sites were FED-68. FED-55. FED-64, FED-65. and FED-14. Liability <br />for all other sites had been previously relieved except for those retained as groundwater mon~tonng <br />wells to support possible future mining activities, <br />Site FED-68 was virtually an island of tall perennial grass in a sea of close-cropped rangeland. The <br />site displayed a healthy stand of wheatgrass, brome and some squirreltail grass, There were a few <br />bare patches, but coverage was excellent overall and there was no erosion and no weeds Site is <br />releasable <br />.:: <br />_ _ c~ <br />~/ ~f~ <br />~• ' <br />,~.
