• (Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-85-210 <br />INSPECTION DATE_March 24, 1998 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />S INITIALS TAS <br />1. This inspection was conducted in response to the operator's recent re est for financial <br />warranty release of 4.7 acres of pre-existing roads to be left following eclamation and 7.25 <br />acres of pre-law disturbed land. As noted below the Division will co sider a release of <br />11.35 acres of these lands. The land designations and acreages used during the release <br />request are taken from the March 17, 1998 copy of Map 1 Benchmark: Nat re ~ Status of All <br />Affected Land. <br />2. The operator has permitted a total of 106.5 acres of which 25 may be isturbed at any one <br />time. The operator has been in the process of accurately defining the ermit boundary and <br />land classifications within the permit boundary during the past 12 mont s. <br />3. The 11.35 acres of land that will be considered by the Division for r lease from further <br />reclamation liability are listed as follows: <br />A. PL1 - release 0.58 acres, retain 0.02 acres of storage area (66' x 12') <br />B. PL2 - release 0.39 acres of hillside, retain 0.02 acres of mine be ch area <br />C. PL3 - release 2.64 acres (reclaimed & may be considered for substi ute acreage) <br />D. PL6 - release 1.29 acres (reclaimed & may be considered for substi ute acreage) <br />E. ML - release 0.75 acres (reclaimed & may be considered for substi ute acreage) <br />F. PL4 - release 1.0 acres (lower haul road outslope; revegetated and stable) <br />G. Roads - release 4.7 acres (5.25 acres x 90~, as requested by the o erator) <br />4. The Division will approve a financial warranty release of 11.35 acre upon receipt of a <br />revised Map 1 Benchmark highlighting the locations of these acres as d scribed above, and <br />providing the revised Map 1 Benchmark is accurate and approvable by he Division and <br />received on or before May 12, 1998. <br />5. The release request received March 13, 1998 states the following: "We <br />the release from warranty for all interior access roads for all existing <br />access roads." The Division will grant a warranty release for 4.7 acre <br />since they were constructed prior to the date permit application M-85- <br />will remain following reclamation as requested by the landowner, <br />substantially upgraded to support the current mining operation. P1 <br />Division cannot grant at this time a release or exemption from affected <br />interior roads to be built. The appropriate time for the operator z <br />discuss permitting requirements for any roads to be built in the . <br />construction of such roads. <br />6.
