III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discusslor <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evide <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. This former, contour <br />strip operation is bond revoked. Inspection frequency is quarter <br />with one complete inspection each year. Ground conditions on tk <br />day were dry. The weather was sunny and warm. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />Ponds 15-P11 and 15-P12 held only small puddles of water in the <br />bottom of the pond. Randy of Randy's Cat Service was onsite <br />performing repair work on the ditch north and east of reclaimed pond <br />15-P1. Shaping had been done on about 900 of the ditch above the <br />box culvert along the county road. Randy said that check dams were <br />tc be installed along the reshaped portion of the ditch. <br />
