III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of February, 2001. The <br />site is covered in snow and the weather cloudy and soon to snow. <br />Roads: The road to the site has been chained to prevent access from December through May. The <br />state highway dept. has plowed snow along the highway and it prevents access to the mine for any <br />detailed inspections. <br />
