III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Ohio Creek #2 Coal Mine for the 3'tl quarter, 2003. The weather <br />was warm and cloudy. The site has recently experienced a great deal of moisture. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The site appears stable and significant erosion is not apparent. The pond had <br />water in d but did not discharge <br />General Mine Compliance: No problems were observed. A fence now separates the reclaimed <br />portion of the mine Irom the lower extents of the mine sde. <br />i <br />~+r~ ~~~ <br />.~'R'- <br />a• ' - <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />Reclamation Success: Vegetation on the reclaimed portion of the mine Is now doing well since the <br />above mentioned fence keeps livestock from grazing the htllside. <br />
