Our comments on your recommendations are as follows: <br />1. There has been no mining of the dredge pit since high water caused <br />the main channel to break through into the dredge pit this year. We <br />intend to correct this so that the main channel is restored and is not <br />running through the dredge pit. ' <br />2. We also intend to restore the dike upstream that protected the <br />older 1977 pond. This pond was a fish pond and was not mined for sand <br />and gravel. Will this restorative work require an amendment? <br />Also, you have observed that material has been dozed up on th~= East <br />bank.
