MZNE ID k OR PROSPECTING ID fk
INSPECTION DATE 02/03199
.r
(Page 3)
M-78-080
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS A~
The following problems (PB} andJor possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective
actions) were identified during this inspection. The problems should be corrected by the
dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be
corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land
Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all
corrective actions taken.
PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
CORRECTION
DATE
1. The approved reclamation plan does not accurately
reflect the current post-mining topography.
Specifically, the approved plan states there will be
positive drainage out of the pit, however, the current
topography is that of a small basin with no positive
drainage and occasional standing water from
precipitation events.
Corrective actions are to:
1) Submit a technical revision to the
permit application Chat revises the
current reclamation plan to indicate
that no positive drainage will occur
out of this pit. Please include a
post-mining topograoh;r map that
accurately represents the current
topographic conditions.
08/31/2000
PB or PV: PB
TOPIC(S): RS
2. The re-sloped and re-topsoiled areas that are 5/31/2000
exhibiting poor vegetative establishment need to be PB or PV: PB
seeded or reseeded with the approved seed mix. This TOPIC(S): RV
includes at a minimum, the north and east re-sloped
areas along with any other areas where vegetative
establishment is poor to non-existent.
