iII. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are cormnents on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Cortunents also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or <br />evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />#18411 This is apparently Site RAV-10, West Flatiron 2003 reclamation that was grazed in <br />2004. Henry Barbe recalled that the grasses were close to waist high in June 2004 when <br />Sandy Brown viewed the site, but that most of the area was grazed to the ground by the <br />end of August. The most heavily trampled and rilled portion of this site (trail area through <br />the center) was recently scarified, seeded and mulched. (This small repaired area is shown <br />in #1843}. The flat area toward the south end of the site is shown in #1841. In this area, <br />the seeded grasses and (orbs appear to be relatively less vigorous than in adjacent areas, <br />with relatively more bare ground, and a higher component of annual fortis. <br />#1842)View across steep valley to the south of RAV-10, to steep slope drill sites and a <br />road segment reclaimed in September 2004. Apparently minimal vegetation establishment <br />to date on the drill site that was graded smooth and covered with erosion control blanket <br />product.
