III. Comments -Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On October 'L7, 1992 a partial inspection was conducted at the 0.C. No. 2 mine. <br />The inspection was conducted as a result of a citizen's concern. The inspector <br />met ti~ith Barbara and Mac Stratman ~,~hc are Lhe surface owners of the O.C. <br />Mine. <br />During the inspection the land owners expressed their concern Chat the mine be <br />maintained in a manner that would not have adverse impacts to the environment <br />and that the mine ti,~ould be eventually reclaimed. I informed the Stratmans of <br />the mining and reclamtion Jaw and of the reclamation requirements in the mine's <br />permit. I told the Stratmans that I would keep them informed of the mine's <br />status. <br />
