Although it Is winter, the area seems to <br />be well vegetated with large growths of rabbitbrush, whk:h appeared to be the <br />dominant species. fiere was no water In the sedimentation pond. fie highwall at <br />the oki portal area seemed stable but there are one a two large rocks (boulders) <br />that have fallen and are against the protective fence. <br />fie coal sales tipple area was also to good shape. Again, it seemed to be well <br />vegetated and there was evidence of a good deal of INestock "traffic". fiere was <br />a small amount of water In the sediment pond but ff was not discharging. <br />fiere were no major erosbnal problems evident at either site. <br />
