The site used to be a 1 12 <br />operation that is being converted into a 1 10 by reducing the site to 9.1 acres from the current 36.8 acres. The <br />Division wanted to make sure the area has not been disturbed since the site was last inspected on 6/21 /O5. <br />No operator representative was present at the time of the inspection. <br />The entire area to be released was inspected it has not been affected by mining related activity. The new area <br />had the permit sign and boundary markers in place. Acreage is released from the permit and conversion <br />application to a 1 10 is approved. It would be to Kit Carson County's advantage to provide better maps with <br />the appropriate contour lines, Township and Range from a USGS TOPO MAPS, to show the pre- and post mining <br />LAND USE maps.
