111. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~ w ~9 ~ll® ~'~ -Q/ y <br />~ 3 <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations - <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />REVEGETATION/RECLAMATION SUCCESS: There was snow on the ground at both the mine site <br />and the loadout. However, the vegetation at the loadout and on the refuse pile appeared <br />to be good. AI indicated that they would, in all likelihood, seed and mulch the refuse pile this <br />spring (as soon as they are done with the cover placement and topsoil placement). <br />Miscellaneous: The operator is continuing the reclamation of the mine site. In addition to the <br />work at the refuse pile, the following list is items that have been completed since the last <br />inspection. <br />- The explosives bunker and cap storage have been removed. <br />- The Rock dust tank (by the refuse pile) has been taken down. It is still on the pad area but <br />AI has indicated that it will be moved/disposed of when the demolition work begins again. <br />- All of the conveyor belts have been taken down and removed from the site. <br />- The fan has been removed from the warehouse/shop/office building. <br />- The portals have been sealed and some rubble has been pushed into them. AI indicated <br />that the remaining backfilling would be done after the warehouse/shop/office building <br />has been demolished and backfilling of the facilities area begins. <br />- The truck loadout tunnel at the facilities area has been approved for permanent retention <br />(Minor Revision 41). <br />
