The <br />specifics of the complaint were addressed, but it was determined that afollow-up inspection should be conducted as well. <br />The site is located 2.5 miles southwest of Manzanola, Colorado on open rangeland. The complaint alleged that the operator <br />had obtained a permit without proper adjacent landowner notification, however, all required notifications were sent to <br />adjacent landowners within 200 feet of the affected area boundary as required. <br />At the time of this inspection no mining activities have commenced at this site. The permit boundaries were clearly marked <br />with green tee-posts, however, the permit identification sign was not property posted at the mine entrance as required. This <br />will be cited as a problem on page three of this inspection report along with appropriate corrective actions.
