<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an partial aerial inspection of the Raton Creek Mine for the month of July, 1996. <br />The site is dry but there have been recent rain storms. The pond has water in it and was not <br />discharging. All ditches and culverts appear clear and capable of functioning as designed. <br />The vegetation planted last fall is now growing but the south facing slopes appear to be very <br />sparse. <br />No major rills or gullies were visible from the air. <br />
