(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1978-222 UG
INSPECTION DATE 7-15-2003 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS SSS
OBSERVATIONS
This was a complete inspection conducted to ensure the site is in compliance with the approved permit and the law, prior to
transfer of the permit to Fred Holley. Additionally, This inspection was conducted to evaluate completed reclamation at the
Great Hesper location of this permit for which a warranty reduction request has been submitted, and ensure other locations
under this permit, for which a warranty release request has been submitted, have not been disturbed since the previous
inspection. Potential successor operators, Fred and betty Holley and their realtors attended the inspection.
Great Hesper - Regrading of portions of the site have corrected rilling problems noted in the previous report. Small subsidence
openings noted in the previous report, where portals were apparently located, have been backfilled and seeded. No
subsidence of these backfilled features is currently noticeable. Various types of debris across the site, noted in the previous
report, has been removed from the site. A few noxious weeds such as Canada thistle were noted and will need to be treated
and controlled.
Seeding of the recently reclaimed portions of the site was accomplished last fall and is showing good success. The
reclamation efforts resulted in minimal disturbance to the native, beneficial perennial vegetation previously established on site.
The bond for this site will be recalculated for the pending surety reduction request and to facilitate the pending succession of
operators. The recalculation will include revegetation costs for the Great Hesper site only.
All other sites included in this permit were visited and found to be in the same condition as reported in the previous report,
DMG records indicate that these other locations under this permit were not disturbed since this permit was issued. Therefore,
these sites are recommended for release under the pending warranty release request submitted for these sites. (Monogram
Mine, Buckhom, Little Dot-Tango, Gray-Blackpoint, Sunnyside, Mary Ann 4 (south), Canopus, Arcturus, Rigel and Capella),
barring any comments to the contrary from BLM (landowner of the Mary Ann 4 (south), Canopus, Arcturus, Rigel and Capella
locations).
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Steve Shuey at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand Junction
Field Office, 101 South 3'" Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone number 970-243-6368.
I & E Contact Address cc:
^ CE
NAME Terrv Wetz ^ BL
OPERATOR International Uranium Corporation ^ FS
STREET 1050 Seventeenth Street.
