Comments - Compliance <br />Below are particular issues with regard to any of the compliance items. <br />Enforcement actions resulting from failure to comply with the Act, Rules <br />and Regulations, and the permit also are identified below. <br />4.02 Sions and Markers <br />The operator must place the Dorchester Coal Company office address on the <br />mine identification sign. <br />4.04 Support Facilities <br />The portals have been sealed, evidently to cut off air to the fire in the <br />upper coal seam. The recent flare-up scorched the sheet metal of the <br />mine fan. <br />4.05 Hydrologic Balance <br />All ditches and the sediment ponds were clean and functional at the time <br />of this inspection. The ditch leading to the southwest pond had been <br />cleaned. <br />
