(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-197fi-nsF
INSPECTION DATE: Og/nsim INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: TAS
1. A site inspection of the Riverside Pit was made. Present during the inspection was Darren Gebhardt of McAtee
Construction Company. Digital photographs of the site were taken and are attached to this report.
2. The Riverside Pit is permitted for a total of 86.38 acres. The mine plan specifies wet-mining dredge excavation
techniques. The site will be reclaimed to recreation with a series of three (3) groundwater fed lakes encompassing a total
of 20 acres of water surface. The operator has posted a financial warranty in the amount of $131,200, as specified by the
Division.
3. The Riverside Pit is an active pit with approximately 40 acres of major disturbance. The operator was excavating in the
Lake Marjorie area at the time of inspection. This inspector confirms that the existing financial warranty is adequate to
reclaim the current disturbance. The operator has obtained a Temporary Substitute Supply Plan from the Office of the
State Engineer to account for evaporative loss from groundwater, exposed after December 31, 1980. This inspector
confirms the operator is in compliance with the mine plan and is keeping all mining disturbances within the designated
permit boundary. Available topsoil has been salvaged and stockpiled for reclamation use.
4. An entrance sign and permit boundary markers were posted as required per Rule 3.1.12.
5. There was no evidence of noxious weeds present.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: William G Lauer
OPERATOR: McAtee Construction Co.
STREET: P.O.
