i ~ <br />III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tam Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. No one else was present. The ground was dry. <br />Grasses are starting to brown up. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />The pond was dry. <br />Ditch D-8 and the perimeter ditches in the facilities yard were good shape. <br />The Swale in the county road was ~n good condition. <br />The cap was in place on the upstream monitoring well. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />No problems were found with the building in the facilities yard area. The berm surrounding <br />the yard area is in good condition. <br />REVEGETATION <br />There are patches of Canada thistle in the pond and at the top of the county road <br />embankment approximately 150 feet from the east end of the formal portal bench. Weed <br />control is needed. <br />SLIDES AND DAMAGE <br />No new rack falls are apparent on the former portal bench. <br />Page 3 <br />
