-: <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />On May 14, 1997, William J. Carter and Joe Dudash from the Division of Minerals and Geology, <br />performed a partial inspection at the Blue Ribbon Mine along Hubbard Creek. The weather was <br />clear and warm. <br />Roads• <br />• The roads to the Hubbard Creek sites were being cleared by the County on Tuesday, and <br />were passable for our inspection on Wednesday. <br />• During this inspector's last inspection of this site the gate to [he site was open and not <br />secured. This situation has been corrected. <br />Hydroloeic Balance: <br />Sedimentation ponds #3 and #4 were dry at the time of the inspection. <br />Slides and Damaee: <br />No significant additional slumping of the pile was noted during this inspection. <br />
