J. Dillie
Page 2
April 17, 1996

contaminated material had been dug up, appropriate replacement material found, and
compacted into place. The following day, April 11, 1996 Jerry Meaux of Colorado Lining
Company arrived on-site to begin patching, welding, and testing the liner. His
tensiometer was not working properly and a new one was overnighted from their home
office. Jerry Meaux was able to complete all the welding and testing of the ling on
Friday, April 12, 1996 with the help of an additional employee from Colorado Lining
Company. We have placed a portion of conveyor belt underneath the flange. We
believe that this material would last longer than steel if the same circumstances were to
happen again. Please find enclosed, the testing and welding reports completed by
Jerry Meaux of Colorado Lining Company. If you have any questions or comments,
please don't hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
Sally H es Ka' er
Environmental Engineer
Enclosures
cc: Anne Baldrige
Dan Robertson
