III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of August, 1997. <br />The road to the site was extremely rutted and is becoming almost impassable. The site has <br />reasonably good vegetation cover except where there was continued 4-wheel taffic. Erosion on <br />the reclaimed portion of the mine exsists but not excessive at this time <br />
